Hard to believe we’ve been back on the road for almost a year! With May (and Mother’s Day) just around the corner, the sounds of Scotland fill the air with Highland games and other events across the Southeast.
May kicks off with the Savannah Scottish Games (one of our favorites). On pause for the past two years, the Savannah Games are held at the historic Bethesda academy and, for a smaller games, features all the music, sports, food and fun you’d expect at the bigger events. We then jump to Spookala, a new horror con in Ocala, Florida. If Savannah isn’t on your route, do yourself a favor and visit the Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival. Settling in to its new digs in Townsend, Tennessee, it’s one of the best up-and-coming games on our schedule. We will wrap up the month in South Carolina (yup, five states in six weeks) for the Greenville Scottish Games at Furman University.
If you’d like to see us in person or need a special gift for Mother’s Day, check out our calendar to find out when we’ll be in your area. If we’re not near you this month, just send us a note and we’ll figure out a way to get you whatever you (or Mom) may need.
