Spring is in the air and the world is looking up! It’s been a quiet winter, but positive changes are afoot. This month’s Second Sunday Market will help you get a jump on the warmer weather and Mother’s Day (just around the corner!). For March we are featuring four beautiful new sterling rings designs, some amazing new vintage pieces (Art Deco and Art Nouveau are on tap), and a few little surprises. You can visit our Facebook Event to join in the fun.
Last month, everyone gave us a ton of feedback on the one-of-a-kind vintage pieces Jeff had collected. The overwhelming response was “More!” For March, Jeff has been focusing on three of our favorite eras: Victorian, Deco and Nouveau. There should be a little something for everyone. If you have any questions, need pricing or sizing, anything at all, just reach out to us via our contact form or Facebook/Instagram Messenger. Jeff will get back to you ASAP.
In February, several of the preview pieces were snapped up before the Live event even began, so if you have your eye on a March treasure, let Jeff know!
Victorian Czech Glass
During the Victorian era, there was a revived interest in the art and aesthetics of Egypt’s golden age. Thoughts of the afterlife kept the British queen in search of the secrets of eternity, and who better to turn to than the immortal pharaohs? This late Victorian carved pendant is beautifully detailed in amethyst-colored Czech glass. The chain is as ornate as the double sided pendant, and the entire piece oozes history and opulence. The teardrop pendant measures nearly 3 inches tall.
Deco 30s Abstract Lavalier
We don’t find many pieces from the 1930s. Designers were experimenting with new materials and new technologies, and sadly, not everything survived the intervening 90 years. This amazing lavalier-length necklace is a true survivor. Hand molded in beautiful blue and green celluloid (cellulose acetate), this abstract Deco form is in mint condition and unlike anything we’ve ever featured before.
Pendants & More
The other request we heard from several customers was for a selection of pendants and necklaces for March. Jeff has found some truly unique pieces from the 1880s to the 1930s, and we will be sharing them this Sunday. There are a variety of metals, styles, stones and lengths, so if you see one you love, drop us a line and Jeff can give you more details.
New Gemstone Rings
We have four new ring styles for March, with something for everyone from the stunning to the simple. If you see something you love, check below for colors, sizing, availability and how to order!
The Elizabeth Ring
Square statement rings are having a moment. With people venturing out more often, accent pieces are there to be noticed, and the Elizabeth setting certainly gets noticed. A surprising delicate and low-profile design for such a large stone, the Elizabeth combines Victorian details with Deco flash. Available in most stone and color options. Pictured in sky blue topaz.
- Lab Stones — $140
- Genuine Stones — $150 to $800
The Bella Ring
Our other square setting for March, the Bella is a later decade design with simple Revival-inspired geometry, a more sturdy look and a higher, off the finger profile. Corner-set prongs give it a classic, elegant feel. Available in most lab stone and natural stone options. Pictured in yellow citrine.
- Lab Stones — $140
- Genuine Stones — $150 to $800
The Lana Ring
With delicate beaded scroll work and classic Nouveau-inspired motifs, the Lana is an early 20th century style with a stunning oval setting and decorated band. Perfect for dressing up or down. Available in most lab stone and natural stone options. Pictured in London blue topaz.
- Lab Stones — $110
- Genuine Stones — $140 to $500
The Paulina Ring
The Paulina setting is an interesting contrast of two distinct styles. The delicate filigree work that covers the setting and band are unabashedly late Victorian in origin. The solid base to the setting is clearly an early 20th century nod. The result is a stunning, elegant ring that allows lots of light under the stone while offering a solid band for daily wear. Available in most lab stone and natural stone options. Pictured in lab sapphire.
- Lab Stones — $100
- Genuine Stones — $120 to $500
Choosing Your Ring
Each of our rings is hand cast in sterling silver and set with traditional gemstones. Each style is available in a range of sizes from 4 to 11. Simply choose a design from above and a stone color from below, and we will do the rest. If we have you exact combination already made, we can ship it immediately.
If we need to cast or purchase a specific stone to set, it takes about three weeks for us to get the best quality stones in hand, cast the ring and get it ready to ship.
To build your ring, choose a design and your stone of choice. Drop us a line via our contact form with your ring, stone and size choice(s), and Jeff will get back to you ASAP to confirm availability.
We have a limited number of each ring pre-cast and set, and each week several sell through this Market Preview. Be sure to contact us quickly if there’s one you have your heart set on, and we will set it aside for you before this Sunday’s Market.
Our rings usually retail for $100 to $140. If you find three or more you like, Jeff will be happy to hook you up for a discount. Shipping is always included.
Since most of our ring styles are set to order, we are offering a mix of lab and genuine stones. For nearly every color, lab stones offer a clearer, more durable central stone with a deeper hue. They are also more affordable, as genuine stones of this carat could run hundreds of dollars.
When choosing your ring, review the list below. Not every ring is available in every stone, but we will work with you to find a gemstone and style combination you’ll love.
These stones are stunning at any size. They are durable and crystal clear with deep, even hues.
- Amethyst (dark purple)
- Aquamarine (light blue)
- Clear Topaz
- Emerald (deep green)
- Garnet (dark red)
- Light Pink Topaz
- London Blue Topaz (royal blue)

- Peach Topaz
- Peridot (pear green)
- Ruby (deep, rich red)

We will work to find you a beautiful stone that perfectly complements the setting. Some stones will be comparable in price to their lab versions, while others (for example, emerald and peridot) will be considerably more. Jeff will be happy to get you a personal quote on your favorite.
