The fall Highland Games season is here, and we have spent the summer collecting and casting a true treasure trove of amazing pieces. With only a few weeks to go before the Stone Mountain Games outside of Atlanta, the Sunday market for October will be packed with special previews. Kilt pins, multi-color gemstone rings, antique silver, new Celtic pieces, unique gold and more — all will be featured this Sunday. There is a LOT we will be previewing, so check out the slide shows below. Want to claim one before we take them to Atlanta? Simply visit our Facebook Event to get a first look.
Earlier this summer, we were fortunate enough to uncover an entire estate’s-worth of vintage and antique Scottish jewelry. The pieces include Victorian-era originals, museum-quality treasures and much more. There truly is something for everyone in this amazing collection.
There are too many details to list here, but Jeff can give you any answers you may need in advance of the Sunday Market.
If one catches your eye, please let us know. At our larger games like this month’s Stone Mountain, our kilt pins sell very, very quickly. With three of our larger events happening in the next five weeks, these pins will soon be on their way to new homes.
Be sure to watch the entire series of picture on this one! This is only eight of the more than a dozen we will be featuring on Sunday.
Over the past two years, we have worked hard to expand our gemstone ring offerings with new designs, new stones and new sizes. After some trial and error, we are thrilled to be adding rings featuring multiple stone colors to the collection.
A few of these designs were featured on Instagram and Facebook earlier in September, and the response was outstanding. If you contacted Jeff to inquire on custom sizing, we have more rings in a broader range of sizes!
If you see something you like, let Jeff know in advance of Sunday, if possible. The Market events can be hectic, and he wants to make sure you are getting the exact ring you want in your ideal size.
Of course, our searches this summer went far beyond our favorite Scottish themes. We have assembeld a truly incredible collection of silver (and some gold!) in styles and eras from the 1850s to the 1950s.
This month we will be featuring rings in sterling and gold (including the largest dragon ring we’ve ever seen), brutalist sterling, cherubs, anchors, crosses, maple leaves and plenty more.
As above, the slideshow featured here only shows seven of the nearly 20 pieces we will be showing this Sunday. If one is on your must-have list, let Jeff know ASAP.
Our biggest launch of the past two years has been our new line of Celtic-inspired sterling silver jewelry. Each piece features modern interpretations of classic Scottish and Celtic themes, each hand cast in sterling silver. It was one of our too-much-quarantine-time-at-home projects. At both our online markets and our live events, customers have loved the line, and we are constantly adding fresh ideas.
For October, we are adding several new pendant necklaces and earring styles. The new additions include classic Celtic knots, Celtic-themed bears and lions, moon phases and more.
If you catch up with us at Stone Mountain, Mississippi or Charleston, we will have a full spread of the Celtic silver designs available.
We couldn’t be happier with the amazing response we got during the last Sunday Market to our new Heritage Collection. If you missed the event, the Heritage Collection is an exclusive selection of historic Scottish jewelry designs from the past three centuries. For each, we have recreated the originals in exacting detail and hand cast them in sterling silver.
The three inaugural kilt pins were also featured at the Highland Games in both the Plains, Virginia and Middle Tennessee (Nashville). They were incredibly popular! If you haven’t seen them before, check out the slide show to the right.
During this month’s Sunday Market, we will show off the pins with four new gemstone colors and give a quick update on five new designs we are working on in our free time.
