After a two-month run through the state of Florida, we are flexing our wings a bit and heading north as the Highland Games season moves to Georgia and the Carolinas.
This April we are kicking off with the Dunedin Highland Games just outside of Tampa. A sister city to Stirling, Scotland, Dunedin’s culture is steeped in its Scottish roots. In addition to the Highland games both Dunedin’s high school and middle school sport competition-level pipe and drum bands.
Later in the month we move north to the unmatched Loch Norman Highland Games. Actually located on scenic Lake Norman (Loch Norman sounds much, much more Scottish), the games offer just one more excellent reason to spend a weekend in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina.
You can also catch us at one of our Sunday Market events on Facebook Live. Each April we hold a special Market in advance of the Mother’s Day weekend. It’s your chance to do a little last-minutes shopping. The exact date isn’t always set in stone, so sign up for our newsletter to receive an advance notice of the event. You’ll also receive a preview of the Mother’s Day items we will be featuring. This year we will be highlighting a collection of opals in several colors as well as the bounty from our recent buying trip to Scotland.
Last, Bill will be taking his books on the road to Atlanta for JordanCon, an annual event for authors and fans. If you are in the metro-Atlanta area and enjoy mysteries, fantasy, and sci-fi, he’d love to see you there!
If you’d like to see us in person, check out our calendar to find out when we’ll be in your area. If we’re not near you with our April schedule, just send us a note and we’ll figure out a way to get you whatever you may need.
The coming months promise to be some of our busiest, so stay on top of our new dates and latest items by following us on Facebook and Instagram. You’ll always be one of the first to know!
