A Celtic Victoria’s cross pendant in sterling silver
A subtle Celtic-styled Victoria’s cross is the focus of our hand cast, sterling silver design. The pendant measures 1.125 inches across and comes with a sterling chain in 18, 20, 22 or 24 inches.
The intricate Celtic knot (snaidhm Ceilteach in Scottish Gaelic) is a staple of Gaelic and Caledonian art for the past several millennia. For many, the compass rose Celtic knot symbolizes a guiding light and clear sense of direction through life’s adventures and misfortunes. While these delicate spirals and step patterns were common in Celtic art before Christian influences in the area, the designs soon found their way into early Christian artwork by the mid 400s AD.
