The Iona Kilt Pin

Based on traditional designs from the Isle of Iona, the flagship piece in our Heritage Collection has a timeless, unisex elegance. A perfect pin for either a kilt or a sash, the Iona is hand cast with more than nine grams of sterling silver. The hand-stamped texture gives the pin a rustic, yet elegant simplicity. A sturdy barrel clasp on the reverse ensures a secure wear for years to come.

The original kilt pin, hallmarked early Glasgow sterling, remains a personal family favorite. Our recreation has been thickened, almost doubling the silver, for a sturdier feel and longer lasting shape. The piece measures just over 1.75 inches across.

A small island in the Inner Hebrides along western Scotland, Iona is best known for Iona Abbey. The Abbey — with its accompanying Nunnery — is one of the oldest Christian religious centers in Western Europe.
