How old is my piece of jewelry?

When we use the term vintage, this means any item (jewelry, clothing, etc.) that is 25 years or older. So typically, this would be pieces from the mid 1990s or earlier. If something is 100 years or older, that would be termed an antique. When we secure a piece of vintage or antique jewelry, we do our best to research and approximate the age of the piece based on several factors: the design, the metal composition, the hallmarks (if any), etc. This is something we are good, but not always perfect, at determining. If you have purchased a piece from us or if you have a personal or family piece, we may be able to help you identify both the likely origin and the approximate age. Just drop us a line!

What condition are these items in?

When choosing vintage and antique jewelry, we try to make sure that each piece is in the best possible condition. This means that we have gone over each item carefully to ensure that there is no damage that means you can’t enjoy it right out of the box. Given that many of our pieces are 30, 40 or more years old, there may be minor condition issues. Whenever possible, we list these in the item description. In addition, there may be small repairs (typical for antique jewelry that was kept, worn and loved for several years). Any repairs we complete are done by a professional jeweler to maximize wearability. If you have any questions about a particular piece, just ask.

How are my items shipped?

We typically ship twice a week, more during rush or holiday seasons. Each item comes carefully packaged to help ensure safe travels. If you have any questions about shipping rates, methods, etc, please visit our Shipping & Returns page.

Can you help me track my item?

When your item ships, you should receive an email from County Argyle with complete tracking information. If your item hasn’t shown up on the intended date, give it an extra day or two. Sometimes the Post Office takes a little longer than hoped. If it’s still missing after a few more days, we can work with you to track it down. Just drop us a line.

What if my item doesn’t fit or if it’s not quite right?

Can I pick my item up in the Orlando area?

You certainly can. If you’d like to pick up item in person, just send us a message and let us know. We will work with you to find the right time and place for pick up. We will also be happy to refund your shipping costs. In some cases, we may be able to offer no-cost delivery within a few miles of our shop for specific items.

What if I have vintage stuff I want to sell?
