With hot weather and summer travel, July is a perfect month to throttle our schedule a bit. We get a chance to relax, stay indoors and recharge before the Fall games and holiday market seasons begin. If we do travel, it will be for relaxation. (We say that every time; in reality we will be checking every town, village and hamlet along the way for hidden treasure.)
We are tentatively planning a trip out West to Colorado this month. Along with a family visit and sightseeing, we will be working on one of our new projects — the next edition of the Haunts & Hollows travel guides for the odd and unusual. The H&H books started as a diversion, something to do while we drive from Highland game to Highland game throughout the year. The first volume — Georgia Backroads — just debuted, and the response has been overwhelming. Do you love the curious, obscure, historic and paranormal? You will find something to enjoy in each carefully researched book.
If you’d like to see us in person, check our calendar to find out when we’ll be in your area. If we’re not near you with our July schedule, just send us a note and we’ll figure out a way to get you whatever you may need.
